Love That Shot

The web blog Love That Shot is hosting a "your favorite faces" competition.  I thought I would give it a try.  Being really new to the photography and PSE world I would love any feedback! 

This picture was taken at our local "nature scape" which is a playground for children that has all natural items to play on or in.  I have had GREAT luck photographing children here.  I just let them play and shoot away.  My 3 boys really are not into having their pictures taken so I have to depend on the neighbors' kids.  If any one has good tips for photographing boys (3-8 years or even older boys) I would love to hear them!  I did not really use my flash right when I took this picture so had to lighten her face with PSE.  Still a fun picture.  Here are a couple more taken at the same time.

Chicago Wedding

My cousin Amy was married last weekend in Chicago.  We had a fun, child free weekend and I got to take lots of pictures.  Congratulation Amy and Brian.

Baby Joey

This is my new cousin, Joseph Andrew.  He is the son of Breehan and Andrew.  He is supper sweet and has a ton of hair. 

Evening Flag Football

Ben had his last flag football game tonight.  He had a great game and played quarterback about half the game.  He threw a pass that was caught for a TOUCH DOWN!

Evening Soccer

Ben had a make-up soccer game tonight.  It was a beautiful night for a soccer game except for all the mosquitoes!  We also had a flag-football game tonight before soccer.  Ben should sleep well tonight!

Train Time

Ethan, Drew and I built a train out of our fort building supplies.  Here are my two train engineers driving the train waiting for their passenger (me) to come aboard.
