Cub Scouts

Today was the cub scout "space derby".  Each scout makes a rocket and then they all get a chance to race.  Ben's rocket was made to look like Toothless from the movie How To Train Your Dragon.  He did not do well in the races.  We took notes and will do better next year.
Brent helped.  To make the rockets go, a rubber band is twisted to turn the propeller.  Brent was the rubber band winder (which involved an electric drill).

Ben did not win any speed awards but he did win a trophy for "most realistic".  I did not think we would get this award because our rocket was not a rocket, it was a dragon.  But they said it looked most like what is was supposed to look like.  We will take the trophy either way!
Ben gets his wolf badge:
Ben earned his wolf badge.  They put it on upside down until he does something nice for his mom or his dad.

Ben in the Newspaper

Ben was in the newspaper talking about his favorite books "Diary of a Wimpy Kid".  The newest book in the series came out on Tuesday this week.  He is about halfway through.  Boys just love these books!

I have not had a chance to finish all the pictures of the Beebe family yet but thought this one was too good not to share.

Morning Play

We spent a little time this morning playing in Mom and Dad's room.  There was some good light coming in through the windows so I decided to practice a little.  The boys are always less than thrilled about getting their pictures taken but that does not stop me.
I think the green blanket on my bed is reflecting a little on Ethan here.  His eyes look a lot less brown and almost green.  Trust me, they are still nice and brown in real life.

Trick-or-Treat

Drew made a last minute costume change.  He REALLY wanted to be a train driver (more specifically Thomas the Tank Engine's driver).  So...that is what we did.

Lots and lots of loot!!!!
